Katherine Marsh, PSY.D.

Dr. Marsh specializes in working with teens and young adults, helping her clients manage mood disorders, anxiety and panic, adjustment and identity issues, and self-harming behaviors.  She uses an integrated form of therapy, with traditional cognitive-behavioral interventions to help clients reach emotional stability and challenge negative thought patterns, as well as an "exploratory" or psychodynamic approach to help gain lifelong insight into clients’ strengths, weaknesses, and patterns of thought and behavior.   New skills are often based on DBT, mindfulness, and ACT models.

Dr. Marsh received her doctorate in clinical psychology from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.  She completed an internship and residency at a residential hospital for children and adolescents with complex medical and psychiatric diagnoses.  She worked in a group practice in Olympia for four years prior to opening a private practice in 2017.  She is pleased to welcome clients into the warm and healing environment at Vibrant Health!
